Girls between the ages of 5 and 10 are encouraged to participate in the Petite Princess Mentoring Program. Each young lady will be paired with a pageant contestant and will model on-stage with that contestant during the formal wear phase of competition. The Petite Princesses will also be presented in a production number of their very own. Petite Princesses will not be judged, but will enjoy the excitement and self-confidence they experience from performing on-stage in front of a live audience.

The purpose of this program is to mentor young ladies who may have an interest in pageant competition, to teach the importance of community service, and to encourage community involvement. The Teen Princess Louisiana Pageant contestants will serve as mentors and role models to the Petite Princesses. All Petite Princesses participate in fun, non-competitive activities and stage productions during the state pageant held in June.

The goals of this program are to encourage younger, active involvement in the pageants throughout the state, to provide an opportunity for personal growth, and to mentor using positive role models, and just to have fun!

Each Petite Princess will receive:
 Official full round crown
 Official pageant t-shirt
Participation in the pageant opening number production
Individual introduction and runway modeling presentation
Participation in a specially choreographed production number
     featuring only the petite princesses
Honor of escorting a pageant contestant on stage during the
evening/formal wear phase of pageant competition

Many wonderful memories and new friends of all ages

The petite princess of the winning contestant will have the opportunity to claim the title of Louisiana State Petite Princess and will be allowed to attend events with the titleholder throughout the year. (Parental approval required. Some additional requirements may apply.)
